What is the FCT Appeals Management System?

The FCT Appeals Management System is the official digital platform of the Fair Competition Tribunal of the United Republic of Tanzania. It enables individuals, businesses and legal representatives to file appeals and applications against decisions of regulatory bodies, pay the required fees through the Government Electronic Payment Gateway (GePG), and follow every stage of their case online — from filing to the final decision.

How do I file an appeal?

Register an account, complete your profile, then navigate to File Appeal. Fill in the appeal details, upload required documents, and submit. You will receive a reference number for tracking.

What documents are required for filing an appeal?

You need the Notice of Appeal (main document), decision being appealed against, identity documents, and any supporting evidence. All documents should be in PDF format.

How much does it cost to file an appeal?

The system automatically assesses fees based on your appeal type and claim value. Fees are paid through the Government Electronic Payment Gateway (GePG) using a generated GPN.

Log in to your account and go to My Cases. You can view case status, upcoming hearing dates, proceedings history, and tribunal decisions in real-time.
